King Faisal University (KFU), another government school, was established in 1975 and offers graduate and post-graduate degrees to medical students. KFU resulted from the combination of four schools: the College of Foods & Agricultural Sciences, the College of Veterinary Medicine & Animal Resources, the College of Medicine & Medical Sciences and the College of Architecture & Planning.
