Hollywood has done much to romanticize the idea of the cross country motorcycle road trip, where the wind whips through your hair, and the open highway suggests endless possibilities. Part of the Harley-Davidson touring series, the Road Glide features color match saddlebags, seating for two, shorty wind deflector and optional sidecar that makes the bike well equipped for long-distance road trips. Road Glide owners need only to point their bikes toward the horizon.

A 50 mile stretch of Old Route 66 in Northern Arizona takes Road Glide riders on a scenic, curved-filled tour through the Black Mountains. Starting in Kingman, Arizona, Old Route 66 heads southwest in the direction of the town of Oatman, then continues down toward Topock and Interstate 40, where travelers can continue on to Lake Havasu, the home of the London Bridge.
